Pre-concert drinks will start at 7.00pm with the concert at 7.30pm. Book a table for dinner afterwards in the award winning restaurant.

Fanfare in the Royal SquareAn open air service at the Weighbridge - the location where the liberating forces landed celebrates the Liberation of the island. Soloists Elizabeth Watts and Quentin Hayes sing Panis Angelis as part of the service. This celebration of Liberation is followed by a larger concert of wartime music provided by Jersey Tourism.

Listen to the exquisite playing of Michael Collins in Mozart's Kegelstatt Clarinet Trio written for performance by Mozart's friends. Experience the lyrical melodies of Faure's Piano Quartet No 1 featuring rising star Wu Qian's inspired piano playing and enjoy the audacity of the performers in Saint-Saens musical portrayal of the animal kingdom in his popular masterpiece - the Carnival of the Animals.

Dramatic poems & readings about Jersey's occupation are interwoven into A Soldier's Tale by Stravinsky performed in a wartime bunker built and housing German soldier's in the second world war.

Be transported to the sinister times of World War II with an amazing musical experience. Take advantage of this rare opportunity to hear Stravinsky's dramatic work in an authentic setting. The concert also includes Poulenc's Clarinet Sonata.

1pm Pre concert performance: Compositions by students of Jersey Academy of Music, based on themes and concepts from 'A Soldier’s Tale'

Over 200 performers, international soloists, singers and musicians perform one of Brahms’ best-loved and most enduring choral masterpieces.  This concert promises a unique and moving musical experience in the most beautiful of church settings.

A stellar line up of soloists – all principals from the Royal Opera House, an acclaimed London choir, Jersey’s Festival Choir & the Jersey Chamber Orchestra make this a concert not to be missed.

In the first half listen to Britten’s virtuosic piece for Soprano and Orchestra Les Illuminations with music set to French poetry and reflect on those who lost their lives in the second world war.

St BreladesEnjoy a musical walk across one of Jersey's most picturesque bays exploring the occupation history interspersed with romantic music from violinist Harriet McKenzie and accordion player Miloš Milivojević guided by Blue Badge Guide Arthur Lamy.

After lunch (at your expense) the event will culminate in a 1pm concert of French Music in the atmospheric St Brelade’s Church with a tribute to the life of Coco Chanel and French cultural figures with the City Consort of Voices.  A 20th century fashion icon, Chanel’s professional life brought her into contact with the upper echelons of society and many of the major figures in the arts. Explore this time during Coco’s life of a blossoming of art, music, fashion and literature.

Join us at 11am at the Meeting point: Ouaisne – The Beach House Bar & Restaurant Car Park ending at St Brelade’s Church

Followed by a concert: St Brelade’s Church 1pm – 2:30pm

A stunning Gala concert with Sir James Galway and his golden flute celebrating the Liberation of Jersey with Bizet's Carmen Fantasy and rising star Leonard Elschenbroich performing Saint-Saens' expressive and virtuosic Cello Concerto No 1. Sir James also performs Mozart's popular Flute concerto in D. The concert concludes with a chance to explore Bizet's rollicking Symphony No 1 – a piece loved by audiences but performed for the first time ever in Jersey.

Michael Collins conducts the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) which is acknowledged as one of the UK's most prestigious orchestras. The orchestra enjoys an international reputation for bringing audiences worldwide first-class performances and the highest possible standards of music-making across a diverse range of musical repertoire. The RPO takes pride in being able to bring together the finest soloists and conductors and this Jersey concert is no exception.

A pre-concert performance will take place in the main auditorium at 6pm.

Yacht Concert Beauport A family day of jazz at the beautiful heritage site La Mare Wine Estate. The renowned saxophonist Ray Gelato and his seven piece jazz band perform popular jazz classics and a stunning collection of originals.

Picnic at La Mare or enjoy a delicious lunch by Jersey Pottery enjoying classic melodies headlined by award winning star Ray Gelato & his 7 piece jazz Giants. Known as the ‘Godfather of Swing’, Ray’s Ronnie Scott’s sets are legendary rising to his regular new year’s eve soiree. Relax on the lawns or take a seat in the Winery with the band at Jersey’s jazz event of the year.

For those picnicking, there will be a stall with food from Jersey Pottery as well as a bar catering for alcoholic drinks. It is also possible to buy a Lawn ticket and book a table in the La Mare café. Doors open at 12:30.

Weighbridge Al Fresco Concert An exceptional night of music and dance hosted by Anton and Erin from BBC's Strictly Come Dancing along with wonderful melodies and music by Cole Porter and Gershwin.

Best known to the public as professional dancers on the hit programme Strictly Come Dancing, Anton Du Beke and Erin Boag first made their names in the highly competitive world of international dance competitions as both amateurs and professionals, winning many highly prestigious titles.


This magical evening will be directed by Christophe Chateau. Sensational acts performing between Anton & Erin's classic routines from the Waltz to the Foxtrot include Asian dance star Nileeka Gunawardene – the award winning face of American Express - & her Bollywood Dance Troupe. Expect roars for the Russian Cossacks who have toured all over the world, fabulous local dancers hitting the big time such as Paulo Teixeira whose credits include High School Musical 2, other international dance artists, and the next hot stars from Jersey with Emma Jane's Street Dance and Jazz tap by the boys from Vic and De La Salle.
