Fifteen internationally acclaimed stars and over 250 local artists perform beautiful and atmospheric music in stunning settings celebrating the Liberation of Jersey. Highlights include: Jazz at Hamptonne with Gwilym Simcock’s Lighthouse Trio, the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Bach's B minor Mass with Royal Opera Stars, and "Pictures at an Exhibition" at Jersey Academy of Music. Some of the main events are listed separately below.
Dramatic Russian chamber music including Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition, Prokofiev’s Flute Sonata, and a premier of Gabriel Prokofiev’s Two violin sonata is performed by 6 international soloists.
At 6:30pm there is a pre-concert performance of compositions by students of Jersey Academy of Music, based on themes and concepts from Prokofiev's music.

Dramatic poems and readings about Jersey's occupation are interwoven in a premiere of “Gulag” performed by international prize winning accordionist Milos Milivojevic inches from the place where Major Peirson died defending Jersey from the attacking French forces in the last land battle on British soil.

Bach's masterwork, the B minor Mass, is performed by international stars Sophie Bevan, Lawrence Zazzo, Robert Murray and Graeme Danby, soloists who have performed principal roles at the Royal Opera House, alongside the Hertfordshire Chorus and the Jersey Chamber Orchestra in the exquisite setting of St Thomas' Church more often known as Jersey's Cathedral. The conductor will be rising star Daniel Cohen who is also the Chief Conductor of the Jersey Chamber Orchestra.

Enjoy a walk around stunning bay Greve de Lecq on Jersey's north coast exploring Russian poetess Anna Ahkmatova and Jersey's Russian connections, as hundreds of Russian forced labourers were shipped to Jersey to build fortifications around the coast.
The walk finishes with a concert of famous guitar music and Russian masters by Carlos Bonell in the historic La Catel fort, after starting from The Prince of Wales ending in time for some lunch before the concert.
