The sixth Liberation International Music Festival starred over twenty internationally acclaimed artists, performing beautiful, dramatic and atmospheric music in stunning settings in the beautiful island of Jersey. Enjoy these pictures of some of the most stunning events ever put together in Jersey. With a flavour of Russia we remembered the forced labourers who were shipped to Jersey to build Hitler's Atlantic Wall and enjoyed jazz at Hamptonne with international stars Gwilym Simcock & his Lighthouse Trio, the world renowned Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, at the Opera House and soloists from the Royal Opera House in St Thomas' church. A bit of glitter was added with Strictly stars James and Ola and nearly 2000 people took part in our educational outreach.

2015 is just around the corner and if you would like to make the 70th anniversary special then get in touch and give us your ideas. The Festival's theme explores liberation, artistic freedom and the power of music to liberate the spirit. In keeping with these noble aims we are in contact with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra and a host of major stars
